FOUNDATION OF THE HOUSE OF BARBELO
We Honor The "Trinity" As Father. Mother, & Christ Child
From The Apocryphon of John
"And his thought performed a deed and she came forth, namely she who had appeared before him in the shine of his light. This is the first power which was before all of them (and) which came forth from his mind, She is the forethought of the All – her light shines like his light – the perfect power which is the image of the invisible, virginal Spirit who is perfect. The first power, the glory of Barbelo, the perfect glory in the aeons, the glory of the revelation. She glorified the virginal Spirit and it was she who praised him, because thanks to him she had come forth. This is the first thought, his image; she became the womb of everything, for it is she who is prior to them all, the Mother-Father, the first man, the holy Spirit, the thrice-male, the thrice-powerful, the thrice-named androgynous one, and the eternal aeon among the invisible ones, and the first to come forth.
She requested from the invisible, virginal Spirit – that is Barbelo – to give her foreknowledge. And the Spirit consented. And when he had consented, the foreknowledge came forth, and it stood by the forethought; it originates from the thought of the invisible, virginal Spirit. It glorified him and his perfect power, Barbelo, for it was for her sake that it had come into being." It Is From This Divine Root That Our Royal Bloodline Was Born.
The "Womb of Everything" According to Ifa (Yoruba Spiritual System)
In prehistoric and early historic periods of human development, religions existed in which people revered their supreme creator as female. The Great Goddess, the Divine Ancestress, was worshiped as far back as the Upper Paleolithic about 25,000 BC -- not 7000 BC as had been previously believed by archaeologists and scholars based on archaeological evidence. The last Goddess temples were closed about 500 AD. Little has been written about the female deities who were worshiped in the most ancient periods of human existence. Even the information that exists today has been altered for deceptive purposes, and even erased.
Most of the information and artifacts concerning the vast female religion which flourished for thousands of years before the advent of the classical age of Greece, Judaism, Christianity, was dug out of the ground after the Second World War. It is these more recent excavations that have changed our view of our most ancient history. Historically, they tried to erase the name of the Mother who created all things. The sacred womb in the center of the universe is still creating from the darkness; it will always give birth to new things.
Women were once considered holy in the sense that ancient man saw woman’s ability to birth and create as sacred. The womb at the center of the Universe is called Iyami Iyenorugbo. It is to HER that we owe all existence as we know it. From her comes all human and divine consciousness. She is the source of all matter, and all things spiritual. When Goddess worship was forbidden, and her worshippers persecuted, likewise were women debased and their respect was lessened. Her image and duties went from being the healers, oracles, and judges to just property, punching bags, and spiritual slaves. This brought about many wars.
The Sibyls: The First Prophetesses of Mami Wata
The Theft of African Prophecy by the Catholic Church
For 6,000 years, Africa was ruled by a powerful order of Sibyl matriarchs. They produced the world's first oracles, prophetess and prophets known as "Pythoness". They worked the oracles in the Black Egyptian colonies in ancient Greece, Rome, Turkey, Israel, Syria and Babylon. Their holy temples were more numerous than the churches of today. In ancient Rome, they first established the "holy see" of the Vatican advising the world's heads of state.
Centuries before Christ, they cured epileptics, the blind, lepers and “casted out demons.” It was a Sibyl who called-up the spirit of "Apostle" Samuel. Their "pagan" prophecies were used by the emerging Roman papals to create a “western theological” foundation and became the undisputed precursor for their Christian Bible. African women's religious history is finally being unearthed, exposing shocking revelations buried for more than 2000 years.
During the times when the warring Christians and Jewish sects, both of whom were widely disseminating corrupted and altered Sybil texts, changed the name of the Savior Ixhousa. Ixhousa appears to be an Afro-Chaldean name similar to Xisuthros, the Mami fish deity later known as Oannes.
Root Mother, Afrika Barbelo

Iya Afrika, The Barbelo (AKA Afrika Maat-Ra) is the Matriarchal Head of the divine bloodline that is the House of Barbelo. This Divine Root Lineage has been hidden, plagiarized, and out right stolen from its rightful heirs. Iya Afrika has maternal and paternal connections via genetic haplogroups to bloodlines connected to lineages considered as "royal".
Iya Afrika is a very passionate being who is an advocate for freedom of self expression; be it accepted by the majority or not. Afrika has a zeal for all things spiritual, which drove her to study all religion, science, mathematics, languages, different cultures and traditions, etc.; incorporating the knowledge thereof into her spiritual guidance work, mentoring, cryptic spoken word poetry, and books. She is an author, poet of 27yrs, motivational speaker, a nurturer, mother, sister, and a lover of human soul. Her spiritual guidance approach sets out to achieve the goal of simplifying universal, scientific, metaphysical, cultural, and spiritual principles so that those who, at one time could not pull away from suckling the proverbial "breast" of religion, because of said simplification, they are able to move on to the "strong meat" that is the ancient universal laws, principles & sciences.
Although she does NOT define herself as a feminist, she is very much a being who supports Matriarchy; for it is the way of the ancients. Iya Afrika is an activist for the upliftment of women, and elevating the minds of young women to hold themselves to the highest standards while always displaying self discipline and self respect. The world thrived during the golden age, which was a time of matriarchal rule. If Earth is to ascend to higher vibrations as a planet, its residents MUST return to the universal law and cosmic order which places the divine feminine principle as the Head and Creator of all things after the Divine Spirit created Her. Iya Afrika believes it is her destiny to assist the planet of Earth with its transition to the return of all things to the governance of the Divine Feminine.
